Mechanical Belts are one of Create’s defining systems: they move visible items between operations while also participating in the kinetic layout.
Item lines
- Items placed on belts move along a production line and can be processed directly by machines such as Presses or Fans.
- Funnels and tunnels determine what enters, exits or splits along the belt.
- Depots are useful when a single processing position is more appropriate than a continuous belt.
Factory design
- Use separate input and output lanes where machines produce several outputs.
- Keep belts visible in public factories: the movement explains the build to other players and makes shops/factories feel alive.
