Trading machines
Safe offline shops for actual buildings.
What it changes for players
- Trading machines support sales, purchasing or barter-style exchanges depending on configuration.
- The owner controls stocked offers and access/rules; the machine makes sales when the owner is offline.
- Place traders as counters, vending units or warehouse tills inside player-built shops.
A physical shop
- A player constructs a building or stall, then places trade machinery within it.
- The shop must be stocked and configured for offered exchanges, letting customers trade while the owner is offline.
Trust and design
- Make entrances, counters, stock themes and prices readable.
- Put high-demand shops by rail terminals or town squares so travel and commerce reinforce each other.
