What it is for
Steam Whistle is documented here as a rotation source in the installed Create setup. Steam-themed audible signalling component for industrial builds.
In Create, blocks are most useful as visible parts of a system: a source provides motion, transmission routes it, machines perform work, and logistics carry the result onward.
How to use it
- Connect its output into a clear shaft route before adding multiple machines.
- Check stress capacity and speed before expanding the network.
When the item supports a Ponder scene, hover it in the inventory or recipe viewer and hold the displayed Ponder key to see valid arrangements animated in game.
Build practice
Place this component where its function is legible to other players: machines should be accessible, routes should have labelled destinations, and moving equipment should have safe clearance.
For railway and market builds, let the visual machinery show how goods move from production to storage and sale.

- No rotation reaching the output shaft.
